Hot off the presses! For the sixth year in a row, readers of The Nashville Scene have chosen me as Nashville’s Best Current Metro Councilmember. I’m honored and deeply appreciative of the recognition of the hard work and dedication I have put into representing my constituents in District 19.
Whether it’s standing up for abortion access, working to create housing and services for those who need it most, pushing for pedestrian safety as the mayor tried to build private parking on one of Nashville’s most dangerous corridors, fighting for more transit investment, or simply engaging with the community as a member of the Metro Council, my overarching goal has been to build a Nashville that works together.
Now I am running to continue that work as your next mayor. I believe Nashvillians are ready to face the challenges we confront—but we need a visionary mayor to lead the way.
